Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Valley of Roses - Dades Valley Gorges
Our 3-day adventure kicks off at 8:00 AM as your friendly driver-guide picks you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We'll journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m), with scenic stops to capture the colorful landscapes and Berber villages. By midday, we'll arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah for a guided tour and lunch. Continuing our drive, we'll visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate before heading southeast towards the Dades Valley, passing through the lush Skoura palm groves and the city of roses. We'll reach Dades Valley by evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel or riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga (Camel Trek and Desert Camp)
After breakfast and refreshments, we'll explore the captivating Dades Gorges, perfect for scenic photo opportunities. Our journey continues towards Tinghir for a stroll around the Todra Gorges before pausing for lunch in Tinjdad. Next, we head to Erfoud, known for its fossils, and finally arrive in Merzouga by 4:00 PM. Get ready for an unforgettable camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we'll enjoy a mesmerizing sunset and traditional Moroccan hospitality at our nomad camp. Day 3: Camel Riding Back to Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast and a shower, we depart towards Marrakech, passing through Rissani and the Draa Valley. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Ouarzazate before heading back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your riad or preferred location, concluding our Sahara desert adventure.
