Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorge
Our 3-day journey from Marrakech to Fes starts at 8:00 in the morning. We'll pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and drive towards Dades Gorge through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-nTichka pass. Along the way, we'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, continue through Ouarzazate, and pass through Kelaa Mgouna (Rose Valley) and Boumalne Dades. The landscape changes dramatically as we enter Dades Gorge, a breathtaking natural panorama filled with colorful scenery and wonders. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel or riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorge - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Merzouga (Desert Camel Excursion)
After breakfast, we journey from Dades Gorge towards the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Along the way, we'll pass through Berber villages like Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where you'll sense the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival in Merzouga, our guide and camels will be ready to take you on a camel trek across the high sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel ride as the sun sets, arriving at our nomad desert camp for a night filled with traditional drum music and dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Camel Ride Back - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Fes
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast and a shower, we'll start our journey towards Fes. We'll pass through the Ziz Valley, Azrou, and Rissani, and then continue through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Enjoy some free time for lunch before heading back to Marrakech, where we'll drop you off at your riad or preferred location, concluding our desert adventure.
